Slow going...

STILL working on the 10 man Death company with Jump Packs!!! not much hobby time since my last post. Here and there been working on them but still not finished doing the clean up on the black and then line highlighting them, the bases then they will be complete. Thing is I do the Jump packs separate from the troops so it's like doing 20 guys at once!!! But i can see the light at the end of the tunnel, the jump packs are near complete just line highlighting on them then attach them. Next up I think will be the last rhino and a dreadnought. Will post pictures of the death company when i am finished with them.

Death Company here we come

I started my 10 man death company with Jump Packs today. Base coated in black with initial coat of red on the red parts. Finished 1 of my Rhinos. Not much to post today, I have a 10 man assault squad to paint a furiso dreadnought, 1 more rhino, the Storm raven to paint up 5 Sanguinary Guard to paint A Liberian to build and a Baal predator to build and that's about it for now on my Flesh tearer army. Going to Sunday to get me another Miniature cabinet, running out of space for my stuff. Will post pictures of the rhino and the death company later.

Next Army??

I'm sure most of us Gamers, and army Painters do this. You get 1/2 to 3/4ths done painting an army and your thoughts wander to the next army on the horizon!! Well My mind has wandered there, I am looking at either My Dark Eldar, or My Orks!!! thing with those armies I have NEVER painted either!! What you say, YES it is true I have been collecting Miniatures for 20 Plus years and I bought MY FIRST Ork with the release of the Ork Bomber. It screamed at my and from there I bought models around it to make an army, Thinking Evil Sunz cult of speed army or a Bad Moon tribe army. A friend of mine at the hobby shop i go to got me thinking about Bad moons after a discussion about the new yellow paints from GW and how Orks scream to be painted. So now I am at a Dilemma, DE or Orks? and if Orks Evil sunz or Bad moons!! Either way they both will get done eventually just which one first??

Tanks, Tanks and More Tanks

Base coated and some drybrushing and edge highlighting

Same Base coated and some drybrushing but no highlighting yet

Now i am not sure this is a second coat of extreme highlighting on the black only. Not too sure i like how it turned out compared to a single coat of edge highlighting on black

I wanted to do something other then Infantry for a bit since I have been burning out on them so decided to try my hand at 2 rhinos, how hard can they Be?? LOL yea harder then they appear
